Speaker Profile: Armit Bhambra

Armit Bhambra is BlackRock’s Head of Corporate Pensions in the UK. In this role Armit leads his team in managing the relationships with pensions schemes across UK Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution markets. BlackRock have a significant presence in both markets, managing assets across public and private markets and developing bespoke solutions to help meet clients’ long term investment objectives. Prior to his current role, Armit was part of the iShares group at BlackRock, where he built the Asset Owner distribution team in the UK from the ground up. Before BlackRock, Armit worked as an investment consultant at KPMG designing investment strategy for European Pension Funds. Armit is passionate about global retirement markets and being part of the solution that solves for the challenges in that market. Mr Bhambra is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Investment Advice Diploma from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
