Speaker Profile: Sophie Dapin

Sophie Dapin is a Director in BlackRock’s EMEA OCIO business. She works to improve outcomes for pension schemes that choose to outsource their investment arrangements. Sophie leads OCIO business development across EMEA for Defined Contribution (DC), Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) pensions and different types of pensions consolidation, such as Superfunds. She also acts as Relationship Manager for several pension scheme clients, including the first CDC scheme in the UK. Sophie also hosts BlackRock’s UK retirement podcast, “Rewiring Retirement”. Sophie sits on external pensions industry bodies, including the CFA Institute Technical Committee for the Fiduciary Management Performance Standards and the CDC Forum. She previously worked at Schroders as a Fiduciary Manager, where she was also a Trustee of the Schroders Retirement Benefit Scheme from 2018 to 2022. Sophie began her career in actuarial and investment consulting at LCP and is a qualified Actuary.
