Speaker Profile: Laurence O’Brien

Laurence O’Brien is a Senior Research Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) in the Retirement, Savings, and Ageing team. Laurence joined the IFS in 2020. His current work includes research on pensions policy, saving for retirement, and work at older ages. He is also one of the authors of the IFS Pensions Review, a multi-year project on the UK pension system and the future of financial security in retirement.
