Speaker Profile: James Mullins

James is a Partner and Head of Hymans Robertson's Risk Transfer Solutions team. James has over 20 years’ experience advising defined benefit pension schemes, and has specialised in buy-in and buy-out transactions for the last 13 years. James' expertise is working with trustees and companies to help them find opportunities to reduce their pension scheme's risks in a cost effective and intelligent way, as the number of non-pensioner members reduces. He, and his team, has led the advice and work on several of the largest ever pension scheme risk transfer transactions, including eight with FTSE100 sponsoring employers. James regularly speaks at conferences and his views are often quoted in the press, particularly in relation to buy-ins and longevity hedging.
