Speaker profile: Sara Leacroft

Sara is Secretary to the Trustee for Smiths Group’s two £1bn+ defined benefit arrangements. Sara’s background is pensions administration, having worked for 16 years at KPMG. She knows and values the importance that good quality data plays in running a pension scheme. Since joining Smiths 7 years ago, Sara has driven forward the path to buyout projects, including the data cleansing workstreams. The TI Group Pension Scheme is now 100% insured, with a view to convert to full buyout as soon as reasonably practical, and the Smiths Industries Pension Scheme is progressing well in its preparedness to transact on full insurance in the short-term.
