We are seeking an exceptional CEO to lead our organisation into the next stage of our evolution.

We are looking for an inspiring, proactive, strategic and empowering leader with extensive and proven business management as well as strong Local Government Pensions Scheme (LGPS) experience and connections. With your in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of institutional investment and financial markets, sound financial management experience and knowledge of public sector governance, you will have the skills, knowledge and experience to lead our organisation in a complex and fast-changing regulatory and political environment.

Able to instill loyalty in your team, you will have outstanding levels of personal and professional integrity, be a superb communicator and embody our values: Perform at our best, Deliver results, Look after our people, Collaborate and Act with integrity.

You will be resilient and have a proven track record in the development and delivery of an organisational strategy, the growth of a thriving working culture, in delivering transformational change and, crucially, in collaborating and developing strategic partnerships with others in the public sector.

With significant experience at a senior level and as the public face of the LPFA, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and strengthening our diverse stakeholder relationships and in representing the LPFA at events, conferences and in influencing the future direction of the LGPS.

You will, above all, be passionate about improving the service that we provide to members and employers.
