Our client (this is an in-house pension scheme, with outsourced pension schemes) is seeking an Occupational Pensions Administrator with a good grounding of pension's knowledge and experience in UK pension scheme administration to manage external parties running UK Schemes, and learn all of the aforementioned other skills in global pensions and benefits on the job during an exciting period of change and transition.

Mainly home working, odd requirement for on-site meetings, currently on average once every 2-3 months, when needed Head Office meetings Birmingham, Line Manager meetings in London.

You will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of pensions and benefits programmes worldwide, but to apply you only need have occupational pension administration/provision so far in your career. You will support the enhancement of pensions and benefits programmes and procedures with focus on administration, governance and communication.  You will be working with local teams and third-party vendors/stakeholders in order to ensure adherence with statutory requirements, local legislation, global reward strategy and company standards of operations. The ultimate objective is to deliver the desired employee experience, as per the organisational strategy.

This role will be reporting to the Global Pensions and Benefits Manager, and you will be focused on providing support to the management of Pensions and Benefits programmes in place across the fifty plus countries within which the company operates them.  This is an exciting period of change and new challenges for the company, and you will be someone comfortable working in such an environment, with good communication skills for the many parties you will need to deal with in this newly created dynamic role.
