If you’re currently working in pensions administration and ready to step into a broader, more client-facing role, this is your opportunity to move into an Assistant Trustee Executive position. You’ll use your technical knowledge as a foundation while gaining exposure to trustee meetings, governance work, member communications and adviser liaison — all within a supportive team that will help you build confidence as you transition beyond pure administration.

This Assistant Trustee Executive opportunity offers the perfect balance of responsibility and support, giving you the chance to broaden your exposure while continuing to grow your confidence. You’ll work closely with experienced Trustee Executives, gaining valuable client contact through meetings, calls and emails, and developing your knowledge across governance, compliance and investment matters. Your role will include supporting meeting preparation and drafting minutes, liaising with advisers, maintaining governance documents such as business plans and risk registers, reviewing administration work, and assisting with member communications and trustee reporting. You’ll be part of a collaborative, knowledgeable team that encourages ongoing development and progression. If you’re organised, detail-focused, enjoy building professional relationships and are ready to step up without being thrown in at the deep end, this could be a rewarding and natural next move.
