like minds is a small creative agency with big ideas. The aim of the game is to deliver clear, simple and creative communication for our clients, to help their employees make better decisions about their money and their work.

We’re looking for a communication consultant to join the like minds team. Someone who knows about pensions and can use their communication skills, ideas and creativity to transform the member experience.

As well as being able to work alongside your colleagues to manage workloads and share ideas. These are all key in making you an effective consultant.

Specifically you’ll be:

• Drafting some content, project management, briefing our designers and writers and liaising with suppliers
• Checking data and confidence in setting up the programming to produce benefit statements and total reward statements
• Reviewing proofs from our design team as well as our suppliers
• Researching topics of general interest relating to our work such as how and why people behave and make decisions in the way that they do, latest pension developments and news, financial wellbeing, creative inspiration and new approaches
• Developing relationships with your clients, colleagues and others in the industry
• Owning and managing the financials for your projects

You’ll need to have:

• Experience of communicating with different audiences – this can include members, Trustees, Directors or internal stakeholders
• Managing and running engagement projects or campaigns, either in-house or as a consultant and/or
• Technical knowledge and understanding of pensions - both in defined benefit and defined contribution benefit structures
• A desire to improve people’s understanding and willingness to engage with their retirement savings
• A belief in the power of communication, when done well, to achieve that

That little something extra:

We’re a small team and we rely on each other for support, ideas and camaraderie, so being friendly and approachable and willing to muck in with whatever needs doing, are all qualities we appreciate.

What’s it like working with us?

We put a lot of energy into making like minds the best place it can be for our people. We give our team the support they need to develop personally and professionally, and we all work together helping each other to deliver the best work we can for our clients.
We encourage everyone in the team to participate in the life of like minds and really like hearing different views and ideas. This helps us to grow as a company and continue to be innovative both in the work we do with our clients and how we run like minds.

Our values are what make us tick. It doesn’t matter who you are, or where you’re from – what matters to us is whether or not you relate to the things we strive for and that you’ll support us in living up to our values. https://www.likeminds.uk.com/about
