This role will encompass all DC Solutions technology and tech based communications for Aon’s UK pensions and financial wellbeing solutions (such as our master trust and our group personal pension)

What the day will look like

• Develop member engagement technology including member website, app and push communications
• Develop management information technology, including reporting and measurement of impact
• Work with our Proposition Development, Operations, Sales and Client Management teams to develop and deliver new services
• Work with our technology platform (TBS) team and look at how Aon DC Solutions can best leverage this to enhance member experience, data analytics and client services
• Work with externally sourced partners/tools as used by our MasterTrust, GPP and Bundled DC clients to ensure this is developed to our own and our clients’ emerging needs, as well as delivering process efficiencies
• Monitor market developments and assessing the opportunity for these to enhance Aon’s offering
• Investigate emerging technology solutions across the DC market and analyse potential partnerships & development by Aon
• Drive AI strategy & AI service development for DC Solutions where this is an appropriate solution

What will the person actually be doing?

The role is primarily to ensure that our technology vision for DC Solutions evolves along with new emerging developments and that internal and external developments are aligned and coordinated to deliver this vision. The role will also involve elements of ‘hands-on’ development and application of a good understanding of how the suppliers and systems work together to deliver the user experience.

• Developing and delivering our technology vision
• Managing and developing existing technology (including oversight of suppliers to ensure delivery is meeting expectations and providing appropriate value for money)
• Bringing in new service ideas, creating business case and then managing development of the ideas
• Creating a clear specification for all relevant parties, identifying all critical interfaces between systems and parties and ensuring all use-cases and compliance requirements are considered in the design and testing plan.
• Elements of implementation / build as required from time-to-time
• Training our team so they understand the new developments and can articulate the value to members, clients and prospects
• Presenting new ideas and developments to clients and prospects
