We have an exciting opportunity for a Pensions Administration Expert to work with this leading Actuarial Consulting firm. You will be an experienced Pensions Administration Manager, with preferably experience in both third party pensions and in-house. You must have Defined Benefit experience, although the position does includes some Defined Contribution schemes they are a smaller part of the role. You will ideally be educated to degree level and APMI qualified however, this is not essential.

As the Administration Manager you will have prime accountability for the service delivery in terms of quality, profit and sustainability for your client portfolio, as well as the day-to-day line management of your team. Management responsibilities will include contributing to regular management meetings, implementing any recommendations or decisions made in terms of working practices, resourcing, efficiencies and dissemination of communications to more junior staff. Experience of management duties such as conducting appraisals, setting individual and team objectives, handling HR, performance management issues and recruitment related activities is highly desirable.

You will be overseeing day-to-day management of client relationships with trustees and corporate clients, and participating in trustee and client meetings where applicable. This is a diverse and challenging role where you will be actively involved in marketing initiatives, new business activities, attending new business pitches and company events. You will be heading up a brand new team being created due to exciting new business growth.
