Fantastic opportunity to join a leading brand in their small in-house pensions team. Provide support to the Pensions Manager UK&I in relation to all aspects of the Company's Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pension arrangements including supporting the trustee board and their Committees to ensure they operate effectively and meet all governance and regulatory requirements.

About the role

• Provide operational support to the DB trustee board and its Committees, assist in the production of meeting papers, drafting agendas, meeting scheduling, taking minutes, monitoring and progressing action points.
• Support on all aspects of operational governance including monitoring of plan's risk register, annual business plan, conflicts policy/conflicts log, group life insurance policy, business as usual guide.
• To own, review and process all invoices to ensure timely payment to include payment of advisers'/suppliers' professional fees, investment transactions in relation to drawdown and disinvestment administration including monthly plan cashflow rebalancing.
• Liaision with plan's investment managers, fiduciary manager and asset custodians. Requires ability to analyse and interpret complex investment and financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail, proactivity and adherence to asset dealing deadlines required
• Liaise with third party administrator to monitor ongoing work and project delivery
• Review and control the administrative quality at both member and pension plan level through regular service delivery meetings, quarterly reports and identify and escalate issues to Pensions Manager as necessary.
• Provide support to the Pensions Manager as required in relation to regular and ad hoc DB projects

About you

• Excellent knowledge of DB and DC pension arrangements and pensions legislation/regulatory framework.
• Experience of relationship management with internal and external stakeholders and ability to deal with employees at all levels as well as Trustees and management.
• Strong financial acumen
• Ability to provide project management support
