You will be stepping into a newly created opportunity for a Pension Project Manager for an in-house Scheme to deal with both new projects and annual events. You will take ownership of key initiatives within an in-house Defined Benefit pension scheme, giving you the chance to make the role your own. You will have experience of delivering DB pension projects from inception to completion, working with trustees, third-party providers and senior stakeholders, managing project plans, budgets and governance, interpreting UK pensions legislation and regulatory requirements, driving process improvements and system enhancements, and improving member experience through digital transformation and pension administration efficiencies. Experience of Pension Increase Exchange (PIE), GMP equalisation and pension administration systems would be advantageous. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work within a small friendly in-house pension department and work at your pace being able to deliver the quality and calibre of work you always wanted being able to run a project from start to finish, at a hands on level, making a real difference for the employer and employees.
