Our client is seeking a Pensions Operations Analyst to join its customer operations function.

In this role, you will be responsible for effectively collaborating with the Risk / Origination / Finance / Transitions departments in order to secure their buy-in as well as implementing improvements to systems, processes, and technology, as appropriate.

You will also apply knowledge and insights concerning the Customer Operations function and how this impacts our policyholders, delivering strong business outcomes relating to capital, profitability, the Company brand and market reputation whilst achieving positive outcomes to our policyholders, trustees, and shareholders on a consistent basis.

London, hybrid working.

About the role

• Responsible for ensuring our Trustee clients are receiving the highest levels of customer care
• Responsible for the processing of funding our Trustee clients in line with the deal requirements
• Reconciling monthly payroll funding for schemes
• Onboarding of new business into the operating model and creating funding reconciliations
• Complete data verification checks (review an analyse complex data, understand and communicate data reports, provide solutions)
• Support the Trustees, their administrators or in-house pensions teams throughout the data cleanse process – providing advice and support for data analysis and admin queries.
• Reviewing buy-in & buy-out outsourced administrators payroll – resolving queries and providing feedback
• Effectively collaborates with key stakeholders in the business such as Transitions & Finance.
• Undertakes ad-hoc project work as required, managing work streams and making sure timescales are met

About you

Experience:
• Experience in completing data reconciliation
• Experience of delivering excellent customer service when dealing with external and internal stakeholders
• Experience in checking work and providing feedback
Knowledge:
• Good technical knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes
• Established knowledge of Pensions Administration especially defined benefit pension schemes
• Knowledge of data analysis & data reconciliation dealing with large data sets
• Familiar with pension buy-ins & buy-outs and transitions process.
• Defined benefit pension calculations
