Quality Assurance is a key strategic focus, and this role offers the opportunity to step beyond day-to-day administration and make a real impact on how pension schemes are delivered. You’ll work with real cases, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency for administrators and accuracy for members.

You’ll apply your technical pensions expertise to review, challenge, and improve administration activity across both Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) schemes.

Key responsibilities include:
• Reviewing pension casework and processes using your detailed technical and calculation knowledge to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Conducting audits and QA reviews of agreed administration processes, producing clear summary reports and making practical recommendations for improvement.
• Supporting the development of QA systems, methodologies, root cause analysis, and complaints review processes alongside the QA Team Guide.
• Delivering excellent service to colleagues, members, and employers, ensuring service levels are met and exceeded wherever possible.
• Completing monthly QA activity in line with agreed processes, maintaining accountability for your own workload and outputs.
• Partnering with QA colleagues and wider business teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and calculation changes.
• Ensuring the accuracy of member and employer data, taking ownership of personal work quality while contributing to team-wide performance.
• Conducting peer reviews to promote best practice, consistency, and precision across administration teams.

What We’re Looking For
• Proven pensions administration experience, including manual benefit calculations (essential).
• Experience or understanding of User Acceptance Testing for system changes and calculation updates (desirable — training provided).
• A strong eye for detail with a naturally questioning and analytical mindset.
• An inquisitive, improvement-focused approach, with confidence navigating complex scenarios.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and a genuine interest in improving service quality.

This is an excellent next step for an experienced Pensions Administrator looking to broaden their impact and influence service quality across the organisation. You’ll be part of a small but growing QA team, working closely with experienced colleagues who are passionate about improving how pension schemes perform.

You’ll benefit from:
• Hybrid working, with a central Leeds office just a 5-minute walk from the train station.
• A role where your expertise is valued and your input genuinely shapes processes and decisions.
• Opportunities to learn, build confidence, influence change, and develop specialist QA skills.
• A collaborative, forward-thinking environment focused on precision, care, and innovation.
