As a Senior Pensions Administrator your focus will be on ensuring that a professional and efficient administration service is provided to members in line with this large in-house scheme's own internal SLA's. As a senior pensions administrator you will have a good technical pension's knowledge with experience of checking and mentoring more junior pension's administrators working with you. As well as supporting down, you will support upwards as well, and support the Team Leader to ensure work is well planned and organised within the team and is accurate, completed on time and of the right quality.

You will be someone who can work effectively as part of a team, to guide or coach colleagues to provide quality outcomes and provide feedback on individual and team performance. You will have the ability to encourage high quality of work, and a strong member focus, together with excellent communication skills. You will be someone who has worked in a similar role previously, so you don’t have to have come from just an in-house pension department background, it could be you have worked for a TPA (Third Party Administrator), so you understand the importance of quality, not just quantity and a collaborative approach to getting work done and scheme member satisfaction.

You will have a strong grounding and background in pension's administration, particularly with Defined Benefit pension schemes, coupled with a working knowledge of Scheme rules and practices, HMRC rules and regulations, Pension's and related employer legislation. You will be confident with pension administration software systems, alongside essentials like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. As a Senior Pensions Administrator you may be already studying or keen to do so, and such exams as the PMI, Pensions Management Institute studies.

In return for you possessing all of the aforementioned valuable pension's skills and experience, you will work 3 days onsite and 2 days at home, and be part of a super company with a refreshing work environment, where every assistance will be given to ensure you have the career with them you desire.
