Are you an Experienced Pensions Administrator who enjoys working for an in-house pension scheme, where you get to work with the same members, offer a quality service and know everything you do is truly valued and is making a big difference to members, helping them understand and get the best out of their company pension scheme?

Your role will be to carry out the day-to-day administration of the Group’s pension schemes (over 35,000 members+) in accordance with the Customer Service Charter, the Trust Deed and Rules and relevant legislation. To ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements and to provide a high-quality service to scheme members, potential members and beneficiaries.

You can, and will already be accurately performing and checking all types of benefit calculations and understand the theory behind them, and will help carry out all aspects of day-to-day administration including involvement in complex calculations and cases (including overseas members). You will ensure that errors are kept to an absolute minimum and that all queries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner. You will assist in ad hoc projects and assist in implementation of agreed changes to Administration processes and procedures and always complete and check all relevant audit procedures for all of the Group’s pension funds.

You will be someone able to prioritise your own work, and that of others, setting and achieving deadlines for you all, checking work where needed, helping with the buddy system, coaching and training. You will also assist your Team Leader and provide advice and assistance to HR and Fund members in relation to day-to-day pension's matters, undertake any other duties and responsibilities, which will assist in the smooth running of the pension department, as directed by the Pensions Operations Manager & Service Delivery Team Leader, and weekly huddles and attend monthly meetings.

Where you are now in your career… You will have a thorough knowledge of current pension's legislation and Data Protection, good level of practical experience working in both a DB and DC environment. You will be experienced in and enjoy team working and have the ability to communicate with all levels of employees. You will have worked on MS Office and have experience of Pension Administration software packages. You may even have just started professional study, but this is not essential. Or perhaps you would like to, again this is not essential but our client is happy to sponsor and help with study and encourage all types of personal development.

This is a super opportunity to become a highly valued and respected individual in a large team of very friendly, but also highly knowledgeable pension's professionals, and for you to progress and develop at a pace that suits you, and to a level you desire.
