Newly-created progressive senior appointment joining a highly skilled in-house team providing expert legal support to a £multi-billion Pension Fund.

Hybrid working, based London offices 2 days a week

About the role

• Work closely with the Managing Counsel, delivering pragmatic legal advice on behalf of the DB Pension Scheme trustees, leadership group, internal teams and in-house investment function
• You will have a high level of autonomy as you provide timely advice on legislative developments, potential impact and suggested approach
• Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing process development with particular focus on governance
• Support and mentor more junior team members as part of the wider team’s succession plans including for own role
• Manage relationships with external advisors

About you

• Holding an UK practicing certificate you will draw on a Pensions or Investment legal background with Pensions exposure
• You may be currently working in-house for another large pension fund, or for an investment fund manager, first step out of legal practice would also be of interest
