Have you built a strong foundation in DB pension scheme arrangements within a consultancy environment? A role has become available for a Trainee Pensions Consultant to join and support this high-calibre Consulting team. The individual may already be part way through PMI or FCA approved advisor (e.g. CII equivalent) qualifications; but those who are yet to start study but are keen to commence these are also considered.

Work out of Essex or Hampshire based offices on a hybrid basis, those who are further afield can be considered on a remote basis.

About the role

o Assist senior colleagues and prepare for, attend and follow up from client and trustee meetings
o Where appropriate, collate and publish meeting papers for client or Trustee meetings
o Draft minutes from client and Trustee meetings within agreed timescales and ensure that action points are communicated to relevant parties and followed up
o Attendance and participation at internal technical training sessions
o Undertake, with assistance of senior colleagues, all or some of the following: drafting for Trustees annual report, the Members’ Newsletters, and other specific member communications

About you

o Demonstratable experience working within the pensions administration/consulting field
o At least three years’ experience as a Senior Pensions Administrator
o Experience of Excel spreadsheets
o Experience of face to face communication with clients
o Experience in drafting member communications and other correspondence
