My Pension Expert has acquired the client books and associated assets of InterestMe Advisers Limited and InterestMe Financial Planning Limited after the firms entered administration on 24 September 2026.
Following the appointment of administrators from Kroll, the client books were sold to Doncaster-based My Pension Expert, which will provide ongoing financial advice and servicing to former InterestMe clients.
Clients will be supported under the My Money Expert brand, with My Pension Expert confirming they will continue to have access to regulated financial advice and support in reviewing their long-term financial plans.
The firm noted that planning, communication with the regulator, and its integration processes enabled it to maintain contact with clients after completing the asset purchase.
My Pension Expert CEO, Andrew Megson, said: “Our mission is to make sure every client has access to the advice and support they need to make informed decisions about their financial future.
“That is why we felt it was so important to step in and provide former InterestMe clients with continuity and reassurance during this transition.
“We want them to know they have the support of a regulated financial adviser and we will be there for them for as long as they need us.”
Megson added that the firm’s commitment to providing support was not determined by the size of a client’s pension or investment portfolio.
“Whether someone has significant investments or a more modest pension pot, they deserve to feel supported, protected and confident about their financial future,” he said.
