The People’s Pension has released personalised video statements to help members better engage with retirement savings.
The video statements will be securely delivered by the master trust directly to members via their online accounts. Within the video statement, members will see how much they and their employer have added to their pot, any tax relief, and the result of investment performance. Commenting on the launch, People’s Partnership chief commercial officer, David Meliveo, said: “We continue to improve what we offer our members and the companies they work for, and I am incredibly excited to announce the launch of personalised video statements. It’s another significant step forward for our aim of making pensions simpler, more accessible, and engaging for our members.”
Clarion Futures has launched up to 60 wellbeing spaces following a £525,000 donation from the Rothesay Foundation.
Building on Clarion’s warm spaces programme, which ran over the last two winters to support people through the cost-of-living crisis, the new initiative will offer activities to support physical and mental wellbeing alongside a chance to save on energy bills. Clarion said the well-being spaces will be open to people of all ages experiencing hardship and social isolation, particularly older generations who are often hardest hit. Clarion director, Phil Miles, added: “As winter begins to bite, the impact of the cost of living crisis continues to be felt nationwide. Cuts to winter fuel payments and stubbornly high fuel poverty rates are adding to this challenging context, but we’re committed to doing all we can to help our residents weather the storm.”
