Wealth at Work acquires Landscape

Wealth at Work has announced that it has acquired employee engagement and pension communication firm Design Consulting Limited, which is trading as Landscape.

Following the acquisition, Landscape acquired creative agency MakingGiants, formerly known as Ferrier Pearce, with the aim of expanding its digital communication services.

In December 2022, Landscape had announced that it was merging with MakingGiants.

These acquisitions also follow Wealth at Work’s acquisition of technology design and build firm DBD Digital, as well as its expansion of services into Ireland through the purchase of Employee Financial Wellness.

Wealth at Work director, Jonathan Watts-Lay, said the firm had seen increasing demand for digital communications from large corporates and that it was important Wealth at Work was a ‘one-stop shop’ for all requirements.

“We already deliver financial wellbeing and retirement services to millions of employees and pension scheme members and will continue to innovate to remain at the forefront in delivering these services to companies and occupational pension schemes alike,” he continued.

“As client demand increases for digital services, we continue to invest in this area.

“Landscape already has a great reputation in our market, particularly in supporting occupational pension schemes.

“They bring a wealth of knowledge utilising client data and technology, as well as designing engaging content to provide effective digital communications, tools and interactive websites to drive employee and member behaviour, creating good learning experiences.”

Watts-Lay added that Landscape’s acquisition of MakingGiants meant it had already increased its capacity and helped them build on their existing capability to ensure the firm continued to deliver digital communications.

Also commenting on the announcement, Landscape founding director, Ryan Sales, said: “We are really excited to be joining the Wealth at Work group family. Landscape have long admired MakingGiants as they are highly regarded and have an established presence in the pensions and financial wellbeing market.

“We believe our clients will benefit from more innovation, increased engagement and better outcomes through our focus on evidence-based research and digital expertise.

“We’re extremely excited about the future direction of Landscape as this presents a fantastic opportunity to grow as we develop a truly market-leading proposition.”
