My Pension Expert acquires financial adviser Tenet&You

My Pension Expert has acquired financial adviser Tenet&You, its first acquisition, as part of its effort to improve access to independent financial advice.

The financial adviser will operate as an appointed representative of My Pension Expert and in time clients will be moved across to My Pension Expert systems as they become part of the My Pension Expert group.

Marking My Pension Expert's first acquisition, the deal is expected to combine the expertise of both of their advisers to further improve access to independent financial advice and allow savers and pension planners to achieve their desired financial future.

Tenet&You specialises in providing tailored advice to ensure clients’ finances are in the best position to match their circumstances and aspirations.

Previously appointed as a representative of the Tenet Group, Tenet&You has £490m assets under administration, taking My Pension Expert to approximately £1bn of assets under influence.

Commenting on the deal, My Pension Expert CEO, Andrew Megson, said the company is “delighted” to conclude the acquisition of Tenet&You.

He stated: "Throughout this entire process, our focus has been on ensuring the best possible outcomes for the existing Tenet&You customers.

"Much work has gone into making sure the move is seamless, and My Pension Expert is perfectly positioned to provide our new clients with outstanding service and care.

“This marks our first acquisition, and we look forward to continuing our growth and strengthening our offering in the future."
