Appointments update

Dominic McNamara has joined Mercer’s Outsourcing business as client service manager in its Discontinued Schemes Unit. The unit supports trustees with administration and management services in the run-up to closure of their pension schemes. McNamara worked for the Financial Assistance Scheme prior to joining Mercer and has also held various policy and project management appointments in the Pensions Client Directorate at the Department for Work and Pensions.

Bluefin Corporate Consulting has appointed John Hunt to its international benefits team. Hunt has joined from Aetna Global benefits where he was sales director. He has worked as international business development manager at AXA PPP Healthcare and as a senior product executive at Saga Services.

Generation Investment LLP has announced the appointment of Julian Curtis as a partner in its London office. He will support the company’s developing investment platform. Curtis has worked at Mizuho Corporate Bank where his most recent role was head of origination for the International Acquisition Finance Division. He began his career at Coopers & Lybrand in 1992 where he qualified as a chartered accountant.
