The latest National Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Procurement Framework for Transition Management Services has been launched.
Marking the second iteration, the updated Transition Management Services Framework was designed to help LGPS funds, investment pools, and broader public sector bodies access a wide range of transition management and implementation services, as well as transition management advisory services, from various qualified providers to meet their local needs.
The framework is divided into two lots: transition management and implementation services, and transition management advisory services.
LGPS said framework users would have access to high-quality, value-for-money services, pre-agreed terms and conditions, and supporting documentation.
Commenting on the launch, LGPS Central head of programmes, Sarj Basra, said: "We are really pleased to be one of the founding members for the National LGPS Framework for Transition Management services."
“This framework will assist all LGPS investment pools and LGPS funds in easily accessing subject matter experts in the transition management and transition advisory space and help us all as part of our forthcoming transition planning,” she added.
The national LGPS frameworks are a collaboration of LGPS funds and pools that have been working together since 2012.
Their goal is to save considerable time and money while offering access to a range of qualified specialist providers.
The LGPS said it was already collectively benefiting from more than £200m in savings using the National LGPS frameworks.
